Now imagine that this happens very frequently and you have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time in order to get it working or at least reconnect to the internet. Only way to resolve the never ending loop of reconnect and disconnect is by uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it. If in the middle of the never ending loop of reconnect and disconnect, you kill the service via Task Manager, it cuts off your internet completely and you won't be able to go online for help, at all, until you relaunch the app. You can't do anything unless you go back into Settings and manually turn off the Auto Connect and Kill Switch. Your internet will be cut off and the app will go into a never ending loop of reconnects and disconnects. If the Kill Switch is active and Auto Connect is active, it gets worse. Sometimes even during the first connection attempt after startup, it may have trouble connecting to a server. The app would not be able to connect when switching to another server. My experience: the Windows version terrible. In addition to standard VPN servers and locations, such as NordVPN Canada or NordVPN USA, you can choose servers optimized for specific purposes, such as P2P sharing or connecting from countries with internet restrictions. If you are thinking of getting it, don't bother, it's pretty trash as of Aug 2022 and you'd be better off with Express. NordVPN has over 5,000 servers in over 50 countries around the world. This might seem like some sort of bot or sponsored post, but it's my honest review of Nord. I will not be finishing my month, I'm cancelling the subscription and returning to Express which has not given me a single issue in my 3 years of using it. I spend more time fidgeting with this piece of crap than I do using it. See the problem? It took me about 20 minutes of restarting to fix. I turned on my computer, and had no initial wifi connection, but couldn't turn wifi on to connect because of the kill switch, which I couldn't turn off until I was connected to wifi. Whilst the connection speed is fine, it is constantly kicking me off networks, forcing me to login, the file app is a piece of work and constantly creates weird clone files with odd names and takes ages to sync a simple word file, and the VPN kill switch completely broke my laptops wifi the other day. Sure, I get a password app and a file vault, but even then I wouldn't say this is worth it. Three days in, and I can tell you it is sub par, at best. NordVPN also offers double VPN encryption, further enhancing your security and privacy online. It has a vast network of servers, including specialized P2P servers optimized for torrenting. So, I figured I'd grab a one month subscription and see what it was all about. NordVPN is another highly recommended VPN for torrenting. I found a lot of people either completely shitting on it, or saying it was the best thing since the second coming of Christ. Now, before I switched to Nord, I tried to find honest reviews. I recently tried to switch to NordVPN for the cheaper pricing, and because I liked the fact that they had several services in one package. I have been using ExpressVPN for about 3 years now, and never had any issues.
